Books with Sas was born out of late-night conversations, shared book recommendations, and a simple wish: what if there was a real place where smut readers could gather?

It started with chatting about books with my daughter and talking with friends from book club about the stories we loved but didn’t always feel comfortable discussing in public. We wanted somewhere you could walk in, find the exact spicy, dark, or fantasy romance you were craving, and then sit down with your closest friends to talk about it — without judgment.

On July 3rd, 2026, that wish became real.
We’re a small, family-owned bookstore in Eagle Point, Oregon, focused primarily on smut and spicy romance while still offering a warm, welcoming space for readers of all kinds. Our shelves are filled with the tropes you love: grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers, why choose, slow burns, dark romance, academia, age gap, mafia, supernatural, sports, mythological retellings, contemporary, psychological romance, and more.
More than just a bookstore, we’re building a community. We host book clubs, keep a comfortable reading and hangout area (with games and plenty of seating), and work hard to make this a place where people feel safe to be themselves and fall in love with reading all over again.
